Very disappointing from the Box Hill Community Board, and very disappointing from the standards of the box hill librarians. As they get paid to basically do nothing in my eyes.

Actually, the basic library rule is QUIET. Box Hill one can't make it. Subsequently, people usually eat hot food inside of library, that's rude and not respect others. Please keep the voice down in the future days, thanks.

Patrons, mostly asian students, are noisy and not well behaved.

I'm currently a master's student who lives in the area, and due to certain limitations of time and space, I'm sometimes forced to be thrown into this jungle of monkey madness. Librarians are there in my eyes to enforce to regulations of the library. I have spoken with them, and they will do nothing to rehabilitate the once upon a time, serene setting of this library.

This public library has the sound decibel equivalent to a zoo, when you come any time when high school students are there to public unveil their deep philosophical knowledge about the length and size of their school ties, and how important 'Matt' the school kid on the block is the coolest in town.

Availability of books and other material is good, but the ambience resembles a cafeteria instead of a library.

To be quite frank, if you are person who is looking for a quite place to read a book or to slowly ponder to oneself how to carve a bone knife out of the femur of a high school student, or to even study quietly to oneself. You've mistakenly chosen the wrong library.

The best library on Whitehorse. If you can't find a book you want they will.

Reasonable selection of books at this library. However if you're wanting to kick back and relax and read forget it. Lots of kids running around while parents stare at there phones. I have a child and will not allow this to cause havoc for offers out of respect but certain people from certain parts of the world don't care and then you have students yelling at each other because they have head phones on. Again I have head phones on also but take them out when I need to communicate. Same people from certain parts of the world again. Pure arrogance. Go to Doncaster library for a well more behaved environment with more respect.

One cannot read or concentrate in silence therefore it is impossible to do so.

The Ministry of Education should intervene and implement strict rules that prohibit talking and eating or drinking in any Victorian library.
